Prospective Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts (max 2 A4 pages) in the relevant subject area for review by our scientific panel. This should be done by E-mail to info@upec2008.org or, in exceptional circumstances, by post to the Secretariat.
The deadline for the receipt of abstracts, extended to 22nd February 2008, is passed.

Key words are not required. However, you may use equations/schematics/references sparingly. The abstract should be comprehensive, and should not exceed two pages. This abstract should not be confused with the brief abstract in the paper itself, which is required for archiving purposes.
On the front page Prospective Authors should give title of the paper, the full name, address, affiliation of all the authors and the E-mail of the author to communicate with. Notification of acceptance will be by 27 March 2008. Final camera-ready papers are to be received by May 18, 2008 for final review. Style of submission will be available on the conference web site. At least one of the authors for each paper will be required to register and attend the conference.
SCIENTIFIC TOPIC Please indicate what is thought to be the appropriate scientific topic from our listing by typing the appropriate number (1, 2, 3 etc.) at the end of the abstract. If in doubt, please type 1 or 2 etc. to indicate the possibilities.
Notifications of the receipts of abstracts will be sent on their arrival at the UPEC2008 secretariat to the author's email address or, in the case of multiple authors, to the corresponding author's e-mail address.
