Notes for the Authors
All accepted and presented papers will be published electronically in the conference proceedings, which will be distributed through IEEE Xplore. A one-page Summary of the paper must be submitted together with the full paper, in order to be included in the Summary Book which will be printed and given to the participants.
Accepted papers will be assigned for either oral or poster presentation, on decision of the Conference Organisers.
Authors are aware that a fully paid conference registration of one of the authors is required in order to accepted papers be included in the final programme and published in the proceedings.
Authors are fully responsible for their papers, which should not have been published elsewhere. They must have taken necessary steps to obtain permission for using any material that might be protected by copyright.
Please note that on delivery of your manuscript you transfer your copyright on your publication to the Conference Organisers.
Paper format
All papers for the conference must be prepared following the instructions given below and submitted in PDF format conform to IEEE Xplore specifications. Page limit is 5 pages (including figures and references). For Word and LaTex users please use the templates provided.

Summary format
All summaries for the conference must be prepared following the instructions given below and submitted in PDF format conform to IEEE Xplore specifications. Page limit is strictly 1 page (including figures). Please be aware that the Summary Book will be printed in black and white (grayscale). Thus, if your summary contains color, we suggest that you verify that the figures or images reproduce well when printed in black and white. For Word and LaTex users please use the templates provided.

Creation of IEEE Xplore compatible Pdf files
A web based IEEE PDF eXpress service has been set-up for all UPEC2008 authors. This service will enable authors to either convert their source files to IEEE Xplore compatible pdf or to check their own pdf files for compatibility.

Link and UsedID for using the IEEE PDF eXpress service can be found in this site on "My paper list" page when login as Corresponding Author.
Paper and Summary uploading
Once you have created and checked acceptable IEEE Xplore compatible pdf files, you may proceed with paper and summary submission.
All submissions will be electronic through UPEC2008 Website; do not send papers via e-mail.
Corresponding Authors of all accepted abstracts have been notified via e-mail userID and password for accessing your personal paper section of this website, where all your accepted abstracts are listed.
Please login to http://www.upec2008.org/user with your userID and password.
For files uploading select the desire paper by clicking on the link below the title and then select "Edit".
You have to complete the files submission procedure by clicking on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the "Edit" page.
Please prepare and check both pdf files (paper and summary), duly verified for IEEE Xplore compatibility. You have to submit the files simultaneously.
After submission you will be able to see your files at any time but not to modify them. In case you need to substitute the uploaded files at a later stage, please contact info@upec2008.org
